The arrival of Palma in Matamoros was at 5:10 pm, according the protocols established by the two countries.
'El Güero' Palma is being held at the National Institute of Migration office (INM).
After fulfilling all the requirements, Palma will be sent to the Attorney General Office headquarters (PGR) in Mexico City.
Mexican authorities have not said if there are new charges against Palma or if he will be called to testify. If not, Palma would go free.
