Gunmen attacked a public transport van in southern Mexico and killed three people, including two students from the teachers college that had 43 students disappear in the hands of police two years ago.
The president is expected to visit Wednesday afternoon the New Military Hospital in Sinaloa.
"This was not a kidnapping, nor organized crime or an attack on the church, this was a social meeting in which there was a falling out among the participants," prosecutors said.
Priest José Alfredo López Guillén was reported as kidnapped last week; his body was found today on a highway between Puruándiro and Zináparo.
The bodies were found Sunday dumped outside a private medical clinic in the Pacific coast resort city of Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
Authorities say María Villar Galaz was kidnapped in Mexico City on Sept. 13 and her body was found in neighboring Mexico State.
Authorities said that the two kidnapped priests were found dead in an area located on the Papantla-Poza Rica highway.
According to the authorities, an armed group entered the local parish in the municipality of Poza Rica and kidnapped the priest and two other men.
Mexican authorities say a man has opened fire at a prosecutor's office in the western state of Jalisco, killing a woman and wounding three more.
In May, Egyptian authorities agreed to pay US$140,000 in compensation to each family of the eight Mexican tourists who died in an attack by Egypt security forces during a safari in September 2015.
