Mexico's central bank held interest rates steady last week, and is expected to hike rates when the U.S. Federal Reserve begins its own hiking cycle, forecast to start in September.
The national statistics institute said inflation in the 12 months through mid-July eased to 2.76 percent from 2.87 percent in June.
