Meet Rius, whose legacy lives on
Eduardo del Río "Rius" was a Mexican self-taught caricature artist famous for his criticism of the Catholic Church and the Mexican neoliberalism (Germán Espinoza/EL UNIVERSAL)
He worked in the weekly children's supplement by EL UNIVERSAL called "Mi Mundo" (My World) in 1977, for 31 consecutive Sundays (Newspaper library EL UNIVERSAL)
