, and the state's Attorney General, Jorge Winckler Ortiz , among other public servants, have been formally accused of six alleged crimes, including torture, considered as a crime against humanity .

, the former director of Expert Services and former Assistant Attorney of the Regional Attorney of Xalapa, is currently in prison for the alleged enforced disappearance, and his lawyer filed the lawsuit before the Veracruz's Attorney General.
The lawsuit also mentions the state's Anti-corruption Attorney, Marcos Even Torres Zamudio , and the Special Prosecutor for the Attention for Reports of Missing Persons, Luis Eduardo Coronel Gamboa.
The lawyer, Jorge Reyes Peralta , the president of the National Bar Association of Criminal Lawyers , claimed that Gilberto Aguirre Garza had been tortured to force him to testify against other former public servants.

, who has a trajectory of 30 years and has written several books about law , was arrested and accused of enforced disappearance, for allegedly altering the discovery of 13 bodies in the Emiliano Zapata municipality , in January 2016.
His defense claims that the university professor was arrested as a political vendetta, orchestrated by the outgoing Governor, Yunes Linares and the state's attorney, Jorge Winckler , because he refused to accuse the former Attorney, Luis Ángel Bravo Contreras.

visited in jail, the previous week he had been tortured with music 24/7, and told him that they promised they would stop torturing him and that they would respect his family if he testified against the former Attorney.
Therefore, he decided to file a lawsuit for torture, criminal association, abuse of authority, breach of legal duty, false accusations, and simulation of evidence .
