, the former director of Expert Services and former Assistant Attorney of the Regional Attorney of Xalapa, is currently in prison for the alleged enforced disappearance, and his lawyer filed the lawsuit before the Veracruz's Attorney General.

The lawsuit also mentions the state's Anti-corruption Attorney, Marcos Even Torres Zamudio , and the Special Prosecutor for the Attention for Reports of Missing Persons, Luis Eduardo Coronel Gamboa.

The lawyer, Jorge Reyes Peralta , the president of the National Bar Association of Criminal Lawyers , claimed that Gilberto Aguirre Garza had been tortured to force him to testify against other former public servants.

Therefore, he decided to file a lawsuit for torture, criminal association, abuse of authority, breach of legal duty, false accusations, and simulation of evidence .
