If you want to know more about one of the most outstanding genius in the history of humanity , you cannot miss the exhibition “ The Universe of Leonardo Da Vinci ” where you will be able to submerge in his world with the temporary exhibit that will include some of his most relevant technological breakthroughs that are now part of daily life.
The exhibition “The Universe of Leonardo Da Vinci” will be open from May 9 to June 6 and will be installed at Mexico City’s main square best known as Zócalo . Visitors will have the opportunity to get in touch with the ideas of this amazing inventor. This itinerant museum will have a section of four halls under the names of the elements – water , fire , earth , and air – that will display the inventions of the engineer from Florence .

Through a press release, Mexico City’s Culture Ministry revealed that this museum will occupy 6,000 square meters of Zócalo. Although this installation will be temporary, the entrance will be free .

“The Universe of Leonardo Da Vinci” is a project organized by the Echazarreta Foundation and will include 30 of Da Vinci’s machines with their corresponding codex, which will give a context of the scope of his technology .
The tour of the exhibition will begin at the entrance of the international lobby, a time tunnel where several images of the universe broadcast by the Hublot satellite will be screened. The exhibition will also have a hall of mirrors that will provide the spectators with a 360° experience .
The museum contains machines created by Da Vinci and will provide visitors with a map of 15th-century Florence . Moreover, the Echazarreta Foundation has organized a simulation of the scientific workshop so that attendees know part of the daily life of this Italian genius of sciences and arts.
