The first edition of Valle de Bravo Gastronomic Festival ( Festival Gastronómico de Valle de Bravo ) will take place from September 1 to September 3 .
This culinary event will gather more than 30 public and private institutions , including restaurants and coffee shops seeking to boost local gastronomy and production, along with culture and traditions.
Among the highlights of the event, there will be a series of exhibitions, several food tastings, and even a mushroom hunting , since Valle de Bravo has more than 100 different mushroom species. During the mushroom hunting, its characteristics will be explained including a guide for the identification of edible mushrooms.
World-renowned chefs such as Mikel Alonso of Biko restaurant and Pablo Salas of Amaranta restaurant will discuss Mexican cuisine .
On September 3, guests will be able to enjoy a brunch by the main restaurants of the area, such as Dipao Avandaro , The Station, and Rodavento .
