After three days of negotiations over U.S. President Donald Trump ’s threats to impose 5% tariffs on all Mexican goods on Monday, President Trump tweeted on Friday that the U.S. had reached a signed agreement with Mexico to stop the tariffs. He added that Mexico had agreed to “take strong measures to stem the tide of migration” to the U.S. southern border.
Mexico’s Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard
confirmed the news on Twitter a few minutes later.
