The series " Un extraño enemigo" (“A strange enemy”) to be streamed by the digital platform Amazon Prime Video will focus on the student movement of 1968.

Actors Constanza Andrade and Andrés Delgado will play two organizers of the student movement that 50 years ago ended with the Tlatelolco Massacre on October 2, 1968.

“It's a very ambitious project and the perspective is different from what you may imagine of the movement, as all angles will be covered,” explained Andrade.

“Characters, such as mine, are based on several leaders, to round-up the [perspective]," said Delgado.

The series, directed by Gabriel Ripstein – winner of the Best First Feature Film Award of the Berlinale – is expected to premiere sometime this year.

The rest of the cast members include Daniel Giménez Cacho , Karina Gidi, Fernando Becerril, and Kristyan Ferrer.

The production is based on the real events which happened in 1968 in Mexico, gathering several perspectives regarding the power struggle of that time.
