In the very heart of Mexico City’s Polanco neighborhood , over what was once the parking lot of a well-known restaurant, Tequila Maestro Dobel put up the Tierra de Maestros tequila museum ; the first interactive space where visitors will be able to learn about the laborious process of making tequila through an entirely new sensory experience.

From another dimension
Unlike other museums, technology plays a crucial role in Tierra de Maestros (Land of Masters) , since the entire experience is lived through augmented reality lenses, which allows visitors to see a series of scenarios and animations individually.
Upon entry, visitors are taught to use the HoloLens glasses , which become their eyes and ears in a complementary experience that allows them to appreciate graphic elements, texts and animations.

The museum is divided into three sections: The first is dedicated to Earth and it explains the qualities needed to harvest the agave plant; next is the elaboration process and the maturation in casks; thirdly, the museum offers a tasting of different kinds of tequila, in which visitors will be taught to distinguish the drink’s color, body, and bouquet. Finally, each visitor will be given a task to make their own tequila blend.

After getting acquainted with the tequila elaboration process and tasting different samples along the way, clients will be offered a personalized bottle selected according to their taste. The museum also features a gift shop with exclusive products by Maestro Dobel, with special discounts and promotions.
