Today, September 15 , Mundo Cuervo will offer a tour at the José Cuervo Express that will take you from Guadalajara to Tequila . It is a trip by Mexico's famous agave landscape, declared by the United Nations Organization for Education, Science, and Culture ( UNESCO ) a World Heritage Site .
José Cuervo Express departs at 7 pm and once you get to Tequila and Mundo Cuervo facilities, the party will start with a mariachi musical show accompanied by regional dances , while a delicious traditional Mexican buffet is served. Chiles en nogada (poblano peppers filled with a mixture usually containing shredded meat, fruits and spices topped with a walnut-based cream sauce called nogada, and pomegranate seeds), tortas ahogadas (traditional dish from Guadalajara, Jalisco), pozole (a thick, pork or chicken stewlike soup including, hominy, mild chili peppers, and oregano) and plenty of margaritas and tequila (a distilled alcoholic beverage made from blue agave plant produced specifically in Tequila and its surroundings) are only a few of the dishes and drinks in the menu.
On September 16 , if you returned to Guadalajara, the train will depart again to Tequila at 9 in the morning, where a tequila expert will lead a tequila tasting , followed by a tour to La Hacienda La Roñeja , where you will learn how to make your own drinks, and seal it with your own name. At the end of the day, there will be a Mexican show and a J ima demonstration (the process of removing agave plants from the field).
