Sandra Weil
presented her Spring-Summer 2019 collection at the Four Seasons Hotel. SALACIA , the collection, is formed by a line of dresses, suits, and jumpsuits with details and prints inspired by marine elements such as whales, and fish.
The collection is designed for women who look to exude sophistication through beautiful details, as this is the second time Weil presents clothes hand-embroidered in Peru .
The simplicity and versatility characterized the collection but keeping its avant-garde quality by using a neutral color palette: white, navy blue, sand, and black with accents in yellow, pink, red, and emerald green.
One of the most important elements in the collection are the materials, as the Pima cotton, the noble Peruvian fiber, tafetta, and denim gave dynamism to each piece. Weil proposes both day and night looks, with a sporty chic feel.
Weil also includes more casual outfits, using t-shirts with prints made by Luca, her son. The t-shirts are made out out recycled PET , in collaboration with the México Azul Foundation .
