Minister Irma Eréndira Sandoval, the head of the Public Administration Ministry , announced authorities have opened seven investigation lines and have a dozen files against government officials and other individuals involved in the purchase of 20 ventilators from Cyber Robotics Solutions , a company owned by León Bartlett, the son of CFE Director Manuel Bartlett.
In a statement , Minister Sandoval said after authorities started an investigation on May 1 and that they now have all the elements to sanction alleged irregularities in the purchase of the ventilators .
For the investigation, the Public Administration Ministry requested information from the IMSS , SAT , IMSS Hidalgo, and Customs . Moreover, authorities also requested information from the Financial Intelligence Unit , which will provide the information soon.

Irma Eréndria Sandoval also confirmed that the IMSS issued a report to return the equipment to Bartlett’s company on May 8 because they didn’t meet the quality standards established in the contract.
Furthermore, Minister Sandoval said that in contrast with previous governments, this administration didn’t allow an operation that would damage public finances .
On April 17, Cyber Robotics Solutions , owned by León Bartlett , obtained a government contract for MXN 31 million to sell 20 ventilators to the IMSS in Hidalgo.
