The President will keep on traveling throughout the country
We’ve been told there’s no way to convince President López Obrador to stop traveling throughout the country despite the COVID-19 pandemic . We’ve been told that although it was believed that after his visit to Oaxaca last weekend he would cancel his visits to other states, the Mexican President announced this wouldn’t be the case and that he will travel to Nayarit , Sinaloa , and Baja California but the meeting will be really small. Some government officials are worried because according to analysts, there could be an important surge in coronavirus cases in the country this weekend and therefore, Mexico would enter the second stage in the pandemic . So now we know the President will keep on defying COVID-19.

COVID-19 gives some time off to Rosario Robles
We’ve been told that despite the government’s urgency to impose sanctions against Rosario Robles for alleged irregularities during the Peña Nieto administration , the COVID-19 pandemic might give her some time and her case might have to wait a few months. It is expected that the project will be sent to the Senate today, in order to carry out a political trial against her. We’ve been told that Ricardo Monreal, the head of the Political Board in the Senate, said that“it’s not his intention to use his political leadership to halt (the process)” and considers that “it’s not time to cut heads off.” He called on the Judiciary Commission to determine if the trial will be resumed now or when the coronavirus emergency is over.
