President Peña Nieto meets with the Chairman of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China

's President Enrique Peña Nieto met with Yi Huiman , Chairman and Executive Director of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited, Singapore Branch ( ICBC ), one of the world's top banks by market capitalization and assets.

Mexico's Presidency informed that President Enrique Peña Nieto and Mr. Huiman applauded the start of operations of ICBC in Mexico since June 2016 , "which portrays progress in the financial cooperation" between the two countries.

President Enrique Peña Nieto and Chairman Yi Huiman coincided that it is a key element that will increase bilateral trade and investment flows .

"They reaffirmed their commitment to building an efficient, inclusive and open financial system that provides more products and services to both Mexico and China."

Mexico's Presidency said that ICBC in Mexico mainly focuses on medium and large companies offering global banking services .
