This morning, the Popocatépetl volcano registered an exhalation with a moderate content of ash towards the East, according to Mexico's National Civil Protection Coordinator Luis Felipe Puente .
Mr. Puente stated through his Twitter account the exhalation had a height of two kilometers .
According to Mexico's National Center for Disaster Prevention ( CENAPRED ), in the last 24 hours, they have registered 31 low-intensity exhalations and three explosions coming from the volcano.
They further detailed the first two explosions had a height of no more than two kilometers in direction of the Southwest, while the third reached three kilometers, with moderate content of ash towards the Northeast.
Since yesterday, there's been a light ash fall in the community Tetela del Volcán, in the state of Morelos .
