Canto a México

( Sing to Mexico ) a benefit concert for those affected by the recent earthquakes in Mexico , an 8.2-magnitude quake on Thursday, September 7 , followed by a 7.1-magnitude quake on Tuesday, September 19 , will be held at the Sala Nezahualcóyotl southern Mexico City, on Wednesday, October 18 .

will perform accompanied by the Mining Symphony Orchestra ( Orquesta Sinfónica de Minería ).

The tenor's participation is part of the Viva Peru Festival , which this year is dedicated to supporting Mexico's reconstruction and recalling the legacy of the Peruvian painter Fernando de Szyszlo.

On Twitter , the singer wrote in Spanish: “Mexico Lindo y Querido, I have followed closely the earthquakes in your country. I will wait for you in the benefit concert on October 18/ at the Sala Neza”
