The PAN wants a referendum

Today, PAN lawmakers will launch a very original idea. We’ve been told that the PAN members will launch a referendum to ask society if they would agree to cancel the construction of the Santa Lucía airport , the Dos Bocas refinery , and the Maya train and allocate the resources to purchase medical equipment to treat people infected with COVID-19 . Lawmakers Adriana Dávila Fernández, Annia Gómez Cárdenas, Absalón García Ochoa, and Hernán Salinas Wolberg are behind the initiative and they also propose that the resources are also used to purchase PPE for healthcare workers, as well as used as a stimulus for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in a bid to protect millions of jobs. How you ever heard about these referendums?

Bonilla will learn his fate soon

In a few days, the Supreme Court will decide if Jaime Bonilla ’s administration will last two or five years. According to a proposal made by minister José Fernando Franco Salas, Bonilla should be Governor for two years. Nevertheless, Bonilla’s defense argues that the decision would have an impact on the state and the country. We’ve been told that the local Congress, led by the opposition, changed the law and shortened the governorship to two years and that when Bonilla registered himself as a candidate, he did so for a 5-year-governorship. We’ll see what happens.
