PAN members should watch baseball
Without the presence of any national leader and none of the 12 PAN governors , Marko Cortés led his second National Council. We've been told that the meeting was even more complicated because half of the counselors have asked the PAN's national president to be more critical of president López Obrador ; meanwhile, another group has asked him to be more moderate in order to have a better relationship with the president . What a meeting. PAN members should learn from baseball fans because yesterday, they booed the president at a baseball game in Mexico City . That opposition was present.
Did the Senate lie?
While president López Obrador celebrated the fact that he raised over MXN $60 million by selling official vehicles during an auction , the Senate didn't have as much luck in a similar event in September 2018 . We've been told that a citizen requested the information to the Senate , in regards to how much money did the Senate obtain after selling 170 cars six months ago, according to senator Ricardo Monreal; nevertheless, we've been told that the response was that they didn't have the information because “ until today, the sale of the cars mentioned hasn't been carried out.” Where are those cars then?
No revocation of mandate
We've been told that Ricardo Monreal doesn't have the necessary votes to approve the constitutional reforms in regards to the revocation of mandate , and the Morena senator has been honest with the president . The reform that would put president Andrés Manuel López Obrador in the intermediate election in 2021 is on the hands of the opposition and we've been told that in those groups if someone learns that one of them voted in favor, they will see how Morena will destroy them in the polls.
The new head of Notimex
The Senate president, Martí Batres Guadarrama worked hard to finally appoint journalist Sanjuana Martínez Montemayor as the head of the government's news agency, Notimex. Moreover, we've been told that Sanjuana was appointed by the majority . Will this support reflect in a more robust news agency ? We'll see.
