The new administration vs. banks

Although it all seems to be fine between President López Obrador and banks , we will see how banks react to a new program to lower the bank commissions charged by banks to the Mexican migrants in the U.S. , who usually send money to their families in Mexico . We've been told that the President will strengthen Bansefi , a state-owned bank, by opening more branches so that remittance collection is easier. Also when President López Obrador was Mexico City's mayor , he lost a constitutional controversy against the Supreme Court, where he complained about the daylight savings . Therefore, there is no reason to think the proposal will be rejected.

Javier Escamilla , who installed a cardboard house outside the building, is no longer living there. In the Public Affairs Ministry , they not only fired dozens of employees, but they also got rid of protesters , as we were told Escamilla was forced to leave over the weekend. Didn't the new government say it wouldn't use repression ?
