Morton Auctioneers in Mexico City

will offer a virtual auction from 5 to 21 February to gather funds for a nonprofit association that assists orphans of policemen that were killed in the line of duty.

The Manos Manchadas de Pintura (Hands Stained with Paint) association was founded by Emiliano Gironella Parra and offers artistic and therapeutic workshops that allow the little ones to overcome their grief.

Through a press release, Morton Auctioneers revealed that the auction sale would feature 85 lots of artworks by contemporary artists from the Rivoli 59 collective , based in Paris , with creators from all around the world.

The collective group showed solidarity with the cause, and will give away part of the proceeds for the association to continue their good work.

On Wednesday 13 February , at 18:00 hours , Morton Auctions will offer a free screening of the documentary “Cicatriz Arte,” featuring the participation of artist Emiliano Girondella. The event will take place at Cerro de Mayka St. 115, in the Lomas de Chapultepec neighborhood .
