Though it was rumored that Slipknot would come to Mexico City along with its full metal festival, the band confirmed the news on June 20th .
The Knotfest Meets Force Fest fusion will also bring heavy metal icon Rob Zombie.
Additionally, after 7 years of absence, the Gothic rock and Nu-metal band Evanescence will come back to Mexico and will be performing in the Knotfest on November 30th . The band, originally from Arkansas, is on tour for its most recent album called " Synthesis ."
On July 30th , the fest's poster was revealed with all the bands participating.
Knotfest Meets Force Fest will take place in Deportivo Oceanía Park in Mexico City from November 30 to December 1 .
On September 3rd, the final lineup of the Knotfest Meets Force Fest was announced with over 30 bands to participate.
