Mexico rules out three more COVID-19 suspected cases

Until now, Mexico has not confirmed any case of the but there have been 16 suspected cases . Currently, there are no suspected cases in Mexico. The three men of between 27 and 45 years of age who were located in Mexico City, Nuevo León, and Jalisco all tested negative to COVID-19.

, deputy secretary of Health Prevention and Promotion , pointed out that the suspected cases have the antecedent of having traveled to China .

The Health Ministry stressed that the Sanitary and Epidemiological Intelligence Unit (UIES) made available the telephone number 800044800 to address the COVID-19 issue; until now, they have received 263 calls.

“From these calls, 78 % of people inquired for information related to the COVID-19, 13 % about the statement of a , 4.2% about medical attention, and 4.5% about another kind of information, such as travel restrictions ,” says the document.
