has just inaugurated the photo gallery “México, Patrimonio Mundial” in New Delhi , featuring 45 original pieces celebrating the 208th anniversary of Mexico’s Independence .
“We want to show people from India the value of this piece of Mexican culture. Not everyone has the privilege to see it. It is undoubtedly a cultural exposition, but also a touristic one,” said Mexico’s ambassador in India, Melba Pría .

The photographs were captured by Adalberto Ríos Szalay, born in the state of Morelos . The works show Mexico’s architecture, art, gastronomy, and culture.
The photo collection shows a series of both natural and cultural spaces, including the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary , and the pre-Hispanic city of Teotihuacán .
The expo seeks to start creative dialogues between India and Mexico while exploring exchange opportunities regarding the restoration, preservation, and promotion of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites , the embassy explained through a press release.
