, the Mexican team of sport shooting won a gold medal during the 10-meter test with mixed air rifle during the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games .

Mexicans Edson Ramírez and Gabriela Martínez totalled 488.1 points and, not far behind them, Eglys de la Cruz and Reynier Estopiñan , from the Cuban team , scored 488 points , taking the silver medal . The dramatic finale was settled with the last shot.

Shooters Israel Gutiérrez and Ana Ramírez , from El Salvador , scored 422.9 points , taking the bronze medal .
