As the trial against Keith Raniere , the founder and leader of NXIVM , develops in a Brooklyn court, at least seven Mexicans were allegedly involved in the case, according to The New York Times . Those allegedly involved include the children of two former Mexican Presidents : Emiliano Salinas Occelli , the son of Carlos Salinas and Ana Cristina Fox , the daughter of Vicente Fox .
Emiliano Salinas
issued a statement denying any involvement with Keith Raniere's crimes.
Ana Cristina Fox
issued a statement where she explained she attended the Executive Success Program 10-day course in Mexico City in 2003 and that ever since she “has never been in touch” with NXIVM .
Former President Vicente Fox
also denied his daughter's involvement with NXIVM . On this Twitter account , Fox said his daughter had “ values and virtues ; respect and dignity ” and said it is painful for a father to see how “a daughter is defamed .”
The other well-known Mexican on the list is Rosa Laura Junco , the daughter of Alejandro Junco , the f ounder of newspaper Reforma , who allegedly bought a house in Waterford, Michigan , where NXIVM rituals s upposedly took place.
This accusation was made by Lauren Salzman , Raniere's accomplice , who according to The New York Times , “testified that she discovered that all the close circle, except Junco , had been or were in a sexual relationship with Raniere .”

also indicated that the home owned by Junco was used for meetings, and the cult members often undressed to take naked pictures for Raniere there. She also claimed there were plans to build a dungeon in the home's basement.
Other Mexicans allegedly involved include Loreta Garza Dávila , a businesswoman from Monterrey who owns the school "Rainbow Cultural Garden" ; her sisters Carola and Jimena have also been named as accomplices.

, Camila Fernández , and Mónica Durán have been named as “ masters ” within DOS , D ominant Over Submissive , a secret “ sisterhood ” created in 2016 and which coexisted inside NXIVM .
