, a Mexican citizen, died during the crash of the Boeing 737 MAX-8 in Ethiopia on Sunday.

In an interview with EL UNIVERSAL , a family member said that the UN translator traveled a lot for work and that “she was about to retire , she had already told her family that she would move back to Yucatán .”

had been working for the UN for many years, as she spoke 11 languages and since a young age, she was hired as a translator .

The airplane where Graziella was traveling along with other 148 passengers and 8 crew members crashed on Sunday and there were no survivors. The plane was on its way to Nairobi , Kenya ; many of the passengers were on their way to the UN's 4th Environment Assembly.

The family member said the Foreign Affairs Minister was handling the situation but it seems it will be impossible to recover Graziella's body, as the “ airplane exploded and there's no way to recover the body, everything is calcined.”

After Ethiopia crash tragedy, some nations ground Boeing 737 MAX-8

On Monday, Mexican airline Aeroméxico said it had suspended the operation of its six Boeing 737 MAX-8 planes until it had clear information about the investigation into the crash of an Ethiopian Airlines jet on Sunday.

“Flights operated with these planes will be covered by the rest of the fleet,” Aeroméxico said in a statement.

Ethiopian Airlines,

which has four other Boeing 737 MAX-8 jets , said it was grounding them as a precaution. China also ordered its airlines to suspend their Boeing 737 MAX-8 jets .

Indonesia

, where a Lion Air 737 MAX-8 went down in October, said it would temporarily ground the model for inspection.
