Fatigue is one of the reasons why employees do not perform to the maximum, whether due to workload, stress, traffic, or lack of sleep, among other factors, including long working hours, stated the snack company Mondelez México .

According to a recent report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) , Mexico is one of the countries with the longest working days , with an average of 43 hours a week .

Countries such as Japan, China, the United States and even in some companies in Mexico, have installed nap rooms, where employees may have minutes to relief stress and disconnect from work tasks.

Through one of its brands, the snack company launched an internal campaign offering several options, which would make the workday of employees a little better.

The employees of the firm voted for the installation of nap rooms, spaces where collaborators can take a nap or even a massage, to be able to continue their working day with more energy.

"The campaign launched by Trident Fresh Mix is part of Mondelez International’s commitment to society: we take care of our collaborators’ well-being, we want this space to translate into better results for all," commented the director of the Rubber and Candy category of the company, Luis Lazcano .

This came as part of the company’s focus on improving the quality of their employees’ work life. Other measures include the Open Spaces program , in which the offices become open spaces, promoting collaboration and productive interpersonal relationships as much as possible.

There is also the Remote Work program , which offers employees the opportunity to work remotely and enhance their professional and personal development, to ensure the highest satisfaction, in order to promote and retain the talent that collaborates in the company.
