Mario Marín, the “Gober Precioso,” still controls Puebla
Now that the Moreno Valle current has disappeared in Puebla , we've been told that former Governor, Mario Marín Torres has been allowed to continue participating in the state's political decisions, as it was proven after Guillermo Pacheco Pulido , who is close to him, was appointed as acting Governor . We've been told that that the former Governor is creating relations to propose a candidate who meets his interests and that, in contrast with what Rafael Moreno Valle offered him, who sent him away in exchange for not sending him to jail , this candidate would give him unlimited legal immunity , even if he decides to return to public life. We've been told that Miguel Barbosa might be one of the candidates who is willing to ally with Marín, to compensate for the l ack of support from some of his Morena colleagues. Official linked to the PRI joins the Interior Ministry
Inside the Interior Ministry, led by Olga Sánchez Cordero , there are some who disapprove the hiring of Gregorio Guerrero Pozas , the former INE comptroller , as the head of Administrations and Finance department , as they claim his links to the PRI are stronger than ever. They claim that during the 2018 presidential campaign , he worked in favor of José Antonio Meade backstage since they are close. Their relationship strengthened when Gregorio Guerrero's son, Julio César Guerrero Martín , worked as Meade's private secretary and led his presidential campaign .
Morena discusses bank commissions behind closed doors
After the successful open parliament , where the National Guard was approved, the Senate is no longer open and it's not dealing with the issue of bank commissions . Ricardo Monreal, Morena's Senate coordinator , without members from other parties, listened to the observations made by bankers and the Bank of Mexico in regards to bank commissions . The opposition is pressuring Morena to make the issue public but we've been told that this time, the majority doesn't think the opinion of the minority should be taken into account.
