Mexican golfer Lorena Ochoa was included in the World Golf Hall of Fame last September 26, in the United States.
This Guadalajara native is the first Mexican and first female Latin American to be accepted into the World Golf Hall of Fame, as well as the number 155 member and the 37 woman to achieve this award.
“My trophy is for all the Mexicans and Latin Americans all over the world,” said the former golfer.
Ochoa was the top-ranked female golfer in the world for 158 consecutive weeks (2007-2010), obtaining 27 victories in the Ladies Professional Golf Association ( LPGA ) throughout her career.
