President López Obrador

had to put an end to rumors that claim the Interior Minister, Olga Sánchez Cordero , is leaving her position. The President said, “we are very happy with her and we don't want her to leave.” This way, the President dismissed all the rumors and took the opportunity to praise her work. He also said that she is a woman with convictions , who fights for women's rights , and is very hardworking . We've been told that President López Obrador attributed the rumors to the opposition . So, the President was refuted the fake news claiming Olga Sánchez was resigning.

They are all accomplices

No one can distance themselves from the Bonilla case in Baja California . They are all accomplices for collaborating or for omission , including the President ; the current PAN governor , Francisco Vega de Lamadrid , and the PAN and PRI . The case sparked a debate in Congress , where parliamentary groups clashed. PAN and PRI members attacked the Morena leader, Mario Delgado , who said he will ask Bonilla to decline the extended governorship . Nevertheless, the opposition is still not safe because local lawmakers voted in favor of the constitutional reform that will extend Bonilla's period form 2 to 5 years. And let's not even talk about the PAN : they gave up the state they had governed for 30 years and left with lots of riches.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon hangs out with López Obrador

Yesterday, President López Obrador met with Jean-Luc Mélenchon , the leader of La France Insoumise party , who is looking to establish a “ Sixth Republic for France .” We've been told that the French politician , who admires Hugo Chávez and Cristina Kirchner , was surprised by the Mexican President's abilities, whom he described as an essential actor for democratic change through a peaceful manner. After leaving the meeting, Mélenchon said that President López Obrador advised him to be “more consistent,” as that is the key to success in politics .

Martí Batres wants a fair election

We've been told that without an internal process to elect the next Senate leader in September, the decision will be made by Morena , the current leader, Martí Batres feels like he will be displaced. And since all the pressure and criticism come within his own parliamentary group , he has asked the party's National Honesty and Justice Commission to monitor the process, so that there is a “proper procedure.” This will be interesting.
