The Mexican soap opera “Mi marido tiene más familia ( My Husband has Another Family ), produced by Juan Osorio , has now been nominated for the Outstanding Scripted Television Series category at the GLAAD ( Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation ) awards.

The soap opera follows the gay relationship between Aristóteles Córcega and Cuauhtémoc López , and is also known as “ Aristemo .”

The characters of the TV drama have gone viral in social media and the actors’ admirable performance has led to the program’s nomination for an award that acknowledges the fair representation of members of the LGBTI community in movies, television, and mass media.
