Lawmakers spent $2.8 million on water purifiers

On Tuesday, the ordinary session in the lower chamber ended at 3:10 PM and the lawmakers in the room left quickly. While she was leaving, a Morena lawmaker spotted one of the 72 water purifiers installed in Congress , which cost MXN $2.8 million , and asked one of her advisers if the water was really clean. This comment comes after someone shared a video on social media , where the purified water was dirty and another employee said the water tasted like plastic. Yesterday, Morena lawmaker Mario Delgado drank a glass of water from the purifiers, which sends the message that the water is clean and drinkable.
