Kenyan Drake helps children with cleft lips in Mexico

The 24-year-old football player gave a one-hour training session to children afflicted with cleft lips and palates

The famous American football running back and kick returner Kenyan Drake visited Mexico to participate in a training session for children with cleft lips and palates.

Drake is an ambassador of the Smile Train Foundation , which helps treat children with this condition through corrective surgery , among other things. Just yesterday, the NFL tweeted: "Wearing the shirt of Mexico's National Team, Kenyan Drake visited the DIF Children's Hospital in the state of Hidalgo while touring Mexico as an ambassador of the Smile Train Foundation."

The 24-year-old football player talked to 13 children and their families about the importance of sports. During the one-hour practice , he taught them some playing techniques.

“I’m here because I want to give them that smile, it means the world to me. Honestly, they make me happier than I do them, but I just want to help them live a normal life,” he stated.​
