Isaac Hernández
, born in Jalisc o, is the main dancer for the English National Ballet and has constantly left a mark on the international world of dance, earning several awards and accomplishments in his artistic trajectory.
This time, he has been nominated for one of the most prestigious awards in the dance discipline, the Prix Benois de la Danse 2018 , which will be held at the Bolshoi theater in Moscow, on 5 June 2018 .
This iconic institution of the Russian ballet recognizes the best and most outstanding members of the international dance scene. It has been pointed out that this nomination, which is unprecedented in the history of dance in Mexico as well as for Isaac’s career, is of great significance and impact in the challenging world of ballet.

These qualities are worthy of admiration and have led 27-year-old Isaac Hernández to become the greatest exponent of ballet that Mexico has ever had, and one of the most outstanding and respected dancers in the world.
The nomination that Isaac received from the Benois de la Danse award was granted particularly for his extraordinary interpretation in La Sylphide , with the English National Ballet. But he is also known for participating in the Don Quijote ballet at the Opera di Roma , where he had the privilege of working under the artistic direction of the legendary Russian dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov .
On November 2017 , he was also nominated by the United Kingdom’s National Dance Awards for the best male dancer category.
2018 has been a prolific year for the young dancer’s career. In addition to the nomination, he has participated in five productions with the Paris Opera and the English National Ballet , which is extremely challenging and exhausting for an artist.
In London, Isaac received great reviews for his roles with the English National Ballet. The media particularly pointed out his rendering of Hernández in the plays of La Sylphide and Le Jeune Homme et la Mort.
