The International Space Station (ISS) , the third brightest object in the sky after the Sun and the Moon, will be visible in Mexico on August 24.

The ISS will travel from the southwest to the northeast , from 7:02 to 7:07 pm ., said the " Hacia el espacio" (Towards space), the Mexican Space Agency's ( AEM ) magazine .

For five minutes the ISS , whose brightness or apparent magnitude is estimated to be -2.5, will be visible in Mexico City, Guerrero, Morelos, Hidalgo, the State of Mexico, Puebla and Veracruz.

This time, the ISS , where a large number of experiments are carried out , and later applied on Earth, will be more luminous than one of the brightest stars , located in the Canis Major constellation.
