The IMSS will convert its three into shelters or to treat patients infected with .

The three facilities are located in Oaxtepec , Atlixco-Metepec , and La Trinidad and have 1,238 rooms in total. According to a piece of information released by Compranet , the rooms will be converted to treat asymptomatic patients, those who have mild symptoms, and people who are still recovering and need special treatment.

The contract the will award to a company will be valid until December 31, 2020, and the companies interested in participating in the tender had until April 30 present their projects.

According to official information, the company that is awarded the contract will work in collaboration with the IMSS to convert, implement, and operate three IMSS resorts into shelters or for COVID-19 patients.

The information found in Compranet doesn’t specify the amount allocated for this project.
