Mexican journalist Doraliz Terrón , who works for media outlet Paralelo Informativo, documented a group of tourists vacationing in Puerto Vallarta amid the pandemic. While the journalist was reporting, she was attacked by a foreign tourist .

The video showed how several businesses and tourists ignored physical distancing and quarantine measures to halt the spread of .

The man was drinking beer with others when the journalist started filming them. He got up and verbally attacked her to prevent her from recording the group of tourists.

The Mexican journalist explained beaches are public places, that she was merely doing her job, and that she would report the incident to authorities.
