From June 15 to June 30 , you can't miss the first edition of The Festival , an initiative of The Glenlivet in which you will be able to enjoy, for 15 days, the expressions of single malt Scotch whisky at one of the 10 participating restaurants in Mexico City.
“This is the first edition of this festival. We want to encourage the culture of the single malt through unique dessert experiences,” said María Victoria Lara, Manager of The Glenlivet in Mexico.
The 10 restaurants in Mexico part of The Festival are Il Becco, Garum, Jaso, The Palm Santa Fé, The Palm Polanco, Toro Santa Fé, Market Kitchen, Estoril, Teruel, and Cantina Palacio.
The dynamic is quite simple: customers will be able to participate in a tasting with an expert sommelier who will guide them through several aged reserves so clients become familiar with each of the unique characteristics.
“In the purchase of a Glenlivet whisky, dessert is on the house. We worked together with the chefs of each establishment to choose the dessert which would compliment whisky,” added María Victoria Lara.
