From August 17 to 19 , the first edition of Borough Expo ( Expo Delegaciones ) will take place. In the event, each of the boroughs of Mexico City will promote their best attractions, traditions, and gastronomy.
The Expo will be held in Expo Reforma building ( Morelos 67 ). It will be a six-floor exposition in which there will be a series of thematic halls.
Regarding the gastronomic aspect of the Expo, 50 restaurants will offer tastings of traditional or famous dishes . Among them, there will be mole from Milpa Alta , enchiladas from Iztapalapa and Amaranth desserts from Xochimilco .
Each borough will have a half an hour presentation per day. It will be a brief concert, conference or dance show. The schedule will change every day.
The program will include a talk about the history of Iztacalco , a violin ensemble organized by Tláhuac and a play organized by Iztapalapa .
