The Grand Prix Mexico wants to remain the best in the world for the third consecutive year.
To achieve this, they've asked DJ Hardwell to play at the F1 podium. This will be the first time an electronic music performer will play live.
The Dutch DJ – who's set to have a 90-minute performance – felt happy for having been chosen for this unprecedented act.
“Being part of this new F1 initiative is a very special feeling! I feel honored that Heineken has asked me to play at the F1 podium for the first time in the history of the Grand Prix,” said Hardwell, who's been named best DJ in the world for two consecutive years.
