A forensics report from the Miami-Dade county revealed on Wednesday that the 63-year-old Cuban Juan Ricardo Hernández , who was punched in the face by Mexican actor Pablo Lyle, died due to “complications following blunt force trauma to the head.”
The document, signed by a medical-forensic expert, indicated death by homicide at the hands of the Mexican actor, who is currently under house arrest in Miami.
The report was released on the same day of a hearing in which the lawyers of Pablo Lyle asked that his financial status be kept private. However, they overruled their request upon noticing that the information was of public domain.
The forensics report will allow prosecutors to file charges against the actor in a hearing on May 1 .
A wake over the body of Hernández was held at a funeral home in Miami on Tuesday, where his family and friends said their last goodbyes.
Judge Alan S. Fine
on Monday set bail for Mexican soap opera actor Pablo Lyle at USD$50,000 and prohibited him from leaving Miami until his next court hearing on May 1 in the death of a man whom the actor hit in a road rage fight.
“This is clearly a tragedy, but mister Lyle had no intention to kill anyone. This is not a murder case,” said the defense attorney Bruce Lehr to the press after the hearing.
