The DEA lists El Chapo's son as one of the most wanted criminals in the US

Guzmán Salazar coordinated the Sinaloa's cartel cocaine, weed, and heroin transportation to the US between 2004 and 2005, and an arrest warrant was issued against him in 2009

, better known as “ Alfredillo ”, El Chapo's son , has been included in the DEA's most wanted list.

He is listed among other cartel leaders , such as the Jalisco Nueva Generación cartel 's leader, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes “El Mencho” , and from Sinaloa , Rafael Caro Quintero , and Ismael “El Mayo Zambada” .

The drug lord is wanted by a District Court on the Northern District in Illinois , for conspiracy , controlled substances possession , and its intended distribution, as well as for conspiring to import and export controlled substances for its distribution.

According to the investigations carried out by US authorities, Guzmán Salazar coordinated the Sinaloa's cartel cocaine, weed, and heroin transportation to the US between 2004 and 2005, and an arrest warrant was issued against him in 2009.

He laundered the profits in Mexico and distributed them among the Sinaloa's cartel allies , led by his father , Joaquín Guzmán Loera. Guzmán Salazar is not facing charges in Mexico .

After his participation in several crimes in the US , the US Department of the Treasury added him to the OFAC's list , in order to confiscate his assets and bank accounts in the US territory.

Despite not having any charges filed against him in Mexico, Mexico's marine forces consider Alfredo Guzmán Salazar as “one of the Sinaloa's cartel main leaders ” and a “ key element ” in this criminal organization.
