In a video-conference, Liebman described Mendelssohn’s concert as versatile, due to its three-movement structure which demands certain dexterity from the pianist. “All three movements are very close together since they’re supposed to be interconnected; the first movement displays some very intense tones, but the second one is romantic and smooth, while the last poses quite a technical challenge because of the piano’s dynamic changes.”

Since the age of five

, the pianist has studied with great piano masters such as Federico Osorio, Paul Badura-Skoda, and Lang Lang . She recently announced the launch of her first album , “Daniela Liebman,” featuring the works of Manuel M. Ponce, Schubert, and Chopin . The young musician pointed out that Schubert is her favorite musician.

“I grouped these composers around the subject of romanticism ; I’ve known these musical pieces for a long time, which is why I chose to include them in the album. Not only are they very special to me, I also have a very solid concept of each piece,” said Liebman about her album, which will be available on digital platforms starting June.

On May 14, she tweeted: "I am very excited to announce the debut of my album 'Daniela Liebman,' coming out on 1 June. Here's a clip from one of the album pieces: 'Mexican Ballad' by Manuel M. Ponce."

Liebman commented that her inclusion of the Mexican Ballad by composer Manuel M. Ponce is a statement of her identity as a Mexican born in Jalisco.

She added that Mexico has a great potential for the arts, which has made it stand out in the world. “Mexico has a very high level of talent, especially when it comes to classical music. There are more and more children playing with orchestras and choosing to follow a musical career,” stated Liebman, who will continue her tour in Ecuador, Chile, and Brazil . She will return to Mexico on September 8 , for the International Black and White Piano Festival of CENART (National Arts Centre).
