Several cultural events in Mexico City have been cancelled after the earthquake

As a consequence of the recent earthquakes in Mexico, several cultural events and activities have been cancelled so far.

Where: National Museum of Anthropology

Details: The Museum will hold some of the activities programmed related to the events, such as the opening conference “Eduardo Matos Moctezuma, Lectures Series” (by the Harvard University); the honorary ceremony of architect Enrique Cervantes Sánchez; the conferences “Los museos y los artistas” ("Museums & Artists") by Zacatecas artist Manuel Felguérez, “Incas y mexicanas: un estudio comparativo” ("Incas & Mexicas: A Comparative Study") by archeologist Eduardo Matos Moctezuma and Peruvian anthropologist Luis Millones.

National Autonomous University (UNAM)

Carne y Arena (Virtualmente presente, físicamente invisible) (Flesh & Sand (Virtually present, physically invisible)) by Alejandro G. Iñárritu.

Where: University Cultural Center Tlatelolco

Details: Tickets purchased for this week will be valid for the shows scheduled for October 10 to 15, at the same time and day. Reimbursements to be requested before October 5 through the following email: boletoscultura@unam.mx

Online ticket sales will resume on October 9 at 9:00hrs at and , as well as the ticket office of the University Cultural Center cinema.

Swan Lake Ballet

Where: Palace of Fine Arts (Palacio de Bellas Artes)

Details: Ticket will be reimbursed at the ticket office of the Palace or through Ticketmaster, depending on purchasing venue.
