Everything indicates that the leaders of the dreaded National Coordination of Education Workers (CNTE) have their own ghosts and haven't assimilated the return of Elba Esther Gordillo to the union scene. We've been told that during a protest in Mexico City on Wednesday, the teachers requested the federal government to review the investigations against Elba Esther, as they consider that she is a threat for all the teachers and for trade unions. We've been told that the CNTE leaders told this to reporters but it wasn't a chant during the demonstration . Does the CNTE want to keep this request under the radar? Is the CNTE afraid of Elba Esther ?
AMLO to meet with investors
We've been told that President López Obrador will meet with U.S. investors tomorrow, to talk about the programs his government has launched. The meeting will take place in Mérida and this meeting is a strategy to tame the uncertainty among national and international business leaders in the last months. The idea is to tell investors what can or can't they expect from the new administration.
Is this a miracle?
It seems like the INE might not fine the PRI's general council with MXN $12.6 million for irregularities perpetrated in 2013 . The Audit Commission approved the fine because the PRI didn't prove the aim of spending MXN $12.6 million on the installation of WiFi in six universities. We've been told that a few weeks ago, the Commission said the fine was authorized because internet access is a human right and only the federal government can grant this service, but political parties are not allowed to provide it. According to the party, it was a publicity tool. Today, it seems like some counselors will regret their previous vote and the PRI might be forgiven . What a miracle !
