CNDH and UNAM sign agreement to prevent human trafficking

It is necessary to raise awareness about the ways in which traffickers commonly engage their victims

The National Human Rights Commission ( Comisión Nacional de los Derechos Humanos abbreviated CNDH ) and the National Autonomous University of Mexico ( Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México abbreviated UNAM ) signed an agreement to strengthen the prevention of human trafficking .

During the signing of the agreement, México's Ombudsman indicated that it is essential to prevent this crime starting in the family, educational centers and children and teenagers social environment.

He argued that it is necessary to raise awareness about the ways in which traffickers commonly engage their victims.
