Camp Cecil is a luxurious camp

that is inaugurated every six months in one of the two main islands of the National Park of the Espíritu Santo (Holy Spirit) Archipelago .

This natural sanctuary, protected by UNESCO , can be found within the state of Baja California Sur . In order to sleep among its turquoise waters, surrounded by volcanic cliffs, one must set sail from the city of La Paz or the Magical Village of Todos Santos .

A small and exclusive team of experts will ship you and accompany you during your stay at the camp. A few minutes before arriving at the island, the boat makes a quick stop at open sea so that visitors may appreciate one of the most famous inhabitants of the Espíritu Santo island: The whale shark .

It’s up to you to decide whether you want to go snorkeling to see the creature or ride a surfboard to follow them as they swim in tranquility.

As you come closer to shore, you will see a crescent-shaped line of sand leading to the small oasis where you will have to opportunity to sleep for a couple of nights. The uncharted beach is called Playa Gallo .

Eight tents are spread throughout the shoreline, equipped with king-size beds, wooden candlesticks, and electricity. During your stay, you will be able to go kayaking, dance with sea-lions and enjoy the meals that a private chef will cook for you with freshly caught seafood.

To access Camp Cecil, visitors are required to make reservations for a minimum of two nights. The experience includes transfers, food, and other activities. The regular fee is USD$350 a night; if you are planning to stay from November 1 to January 1, the fee rises to USD$375 . You may book your stay !
