We've been told that the lower chamber has a blacklist that includes at least few ministers who are causing trouble for their reticence to dialogue, even with Morena members , and nos the situation is affecting the federal government . We've been told that they are doing anything to avoid being summoned to the lower chamber because they are either arrogant or lack certain knowledge. They claim that the ministers are refusing to dialogue with both Morena and with the opposition . Nevertheless, they have to appear before the lower chamber to discuss the Especial Concurrent Program for rural development , as lawmakers are worried about the cuts. The ministries who will have to attend the meeting are Agriculture Minister Víctor Manuel Villalobos ; Finance Minister Carlos Urzúa ; Health Minister Jorge Alcocer ; Welfare Minister María Luisa Albores ; Communications and Transport Minister Javier Jiménez Espriú ; Education Minister Esteban Moctezuma ; Urban Development Minister Román Meyer ; Environment Minister Víctor Manuel Toledo , and Energy Minister Rocío Nahle . Some of them are included on the list.

López Obrador's favorite singer

In politics, loyalty is always recognized and this is exactly what President López Obrador did with singer Margarita La Diosa de la Cumbi a, who performed at an event to celebrate his 2018 electoral win on Monday. López Obrador remembered how the singer agreed to perform at his rallies when he was the opposition. We've been told that at the end of the event, the singer talked to the President for a few minutes.

New Human Rights Special Prosecutor to be appointed

Time is running out and July 18 is the last day to appoint the Human Rights Special Prosecutor . We've been told that NGOs don't want to recommend anyone, nevertheless, they are asking the Attorney General's Office , led by Alejandro Gertz Manero, to organize a transparent election and to consider the opinion of thousands of victims . Also, we've been told that the NGOs are asking that the new prosecutor is someone without ties to the economic and political sector. Who will be the chosen one?

Honduras opens consulate in Mexico

After 6 months, the Foreign Affairs Ministry finally granted Honduras a permit to open a consulate in Tijuana , so that it can help its citizens who are stranded in Baja California . On Friday, Honduran diplomats started working and now they are waiting to get another permit to open another consulate in Ciudad Juárez . We've been told that this time, they're hoping that the process is a lot quicker.
