Mexican designer, Benito Santos,
known for dressing the Mexican First Lady, Angélica Rivera de Peña , and the former Miss Universe, Ximena Navarrete, presented his Spring-Summer collection today, at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico City , during its 25th edition.
The renown designer inaugurated the most important Fashion Week in Mexico , with looks inspired by the golden era of M exican films , and was especially inspired by the filmmaker Gabriel Figueroa . Santos created over 50 looks with classic and feminine silhouettes. Also, the designer inaugurated a new way of doing runways, which consisted of a 360° show, that allowed the attendees to enjoy the pieces and their surroundings.

' collection is dominated by black and white, gowns, and pieces inspired by women's power, which become basics during the season.
Santos combined spandex with prints from the artist Carmen Plaza and vegetation in bi-color tones gave the collection a nostalgic tone.
A-line dresses, as well as suits, were part of the powerful collection, which looks to emphasize female beauty.
